Director- Investment Strategies
Mark serves as Director - Investment Strategies. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment themes as well as monitoring existing investments. Mark also facilitates the ability of outside investors, including family offices, registered investment advisors and institutions, to co-invest with the firm and our principals. He also serves on the firm's Investment Committee.
Mark joined CAZ after almost a decade in the healthcare industry at Johnson & Johnson and St. Jude Medical with experience in their orthopedics and neurosurgery affiliates, respectively.
Mark graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs – Middle East Studies where he was a four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team and 2006 NCAA Division 1 National Champion. Mark continued his education at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University with a Masters of Business Administration and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. He spends time outside of his work primarily with his wife and two children. He serves on the Board of Advisors for the Holocaust Museum Houston and enjoys living an active lifestyle.
